Terms of service
Terms governing use of WebsiteServers.co.uk services.
Last updated: May 2026
These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of hosting, domain, email, SSL, and related services provided by WebsiteServers.co.uk ("we", "us", "our") on brighton.websiteservers.co.uk and related pages on this hostname. WebsiteServers.co.uk is a trading name of CreativeWP Ltd. By creating an account, placing an order, or continuing to use our services you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide web hosting, WordPress hosting (self-managed and managed tiers), cloud hosting, dedicated hosting, domain registration, SSL certificates, email hosting, migrations, and optional add-ons. Specifications, limits, and pricing are published on our website and in your client portal at the time of order. We may update features for operational or security reasons where this does not materially reduce paid entitlements without notice.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration and billing details and keep portal credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require identity or authority checks before registry or billing changes.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use our infrastructure for unlawful content, malware, phishing, bulk unsolicited email, denial-of-service activity, cryptocurrency mining without agreement, or resource abuse that affects other customers. Registry and registrar policies apply to domain names. We may suspend or terminate services for serious or repeated breach, with notice where practicable.
4. Billing & payment
Prices are quoted in GBP and, unless stated otherwise, exclude VAT. Payment is due on the terms shown at checkout or on your invoice. We use third-party payment processors; card data is handled by them, not stored on our servers. Failure to pay may result in suspension and cancellation. Domain renewals follow registry rules; hosting renewals continue on your billing cycle until cancelled in the portal.
5. Uptime, support & SLA
We target 99.9% availability on hosting platforms. Support hours and emergency escalation are described on our Support page. Service credits for qualifying downtime, if any, are handled under the SLA published in the client portal.
6. Data, backups & migrations
We run automated backups on hosting plans as described per tier. Backups are a courtesy unless a specific backup product is purchased; you remain responsible for your own copies of critical data. Migration assistance is provided as stated on your plan.
7. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited licence to host and transmit it solely to provide the services. Our website, portal, branding, and documentation remain our property or our licensors.
8. Third parties
Domains, certificates, email, and infrastructure may involve accredited partners and registries. Their terms may apply in addition to ours. Stripe and other processors have their own terms for checkout.
9. Cancellation & refunds
Monthly plans may be cancelled without minimum term unless a promotional agreement states otherwise. Prepaid periods are generally non-refundable except where required by UK consumer law or at our discretion for unused service we cannot reasonably provide.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data except where caused by our negligence. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the fees paid for that service in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or portal notice at least 14 days before they take effect where practicable. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
